Mystery visits for leisure attractions

We come as a guest.
You see what your guests see.

FreizeitAgent visits your attraction anonymously – from the first click on your website to the last look back from the car park. Afterwards you get an honest, structured report your team can start working with right away.

  • 100 % anonymous
  • For attractions of every size
  • With concrete recommendations
A change of perspective

You know every corner of your attraction. That's exactly the problem.

When you run the place every day, you see processes, budgets and rotas. Your guest only sees their day. What does your experience feel like from the other side of the turnstile? That's the question we answer.

“Our signage is complete.”
“It took me two attempts to find the toilets – with a toddler in tow.”
“It's all on our website.”
“Nothing said whether dogs are allowed. So I called. Nobody picked up.”
“Our team is friendly.”
“Nobody at the ticket desk even looked up. The first smile came at the carousel.”
“Queue times are within range.”
“35 minutes in full sun. No idea how much longer it would take.”

Your guests rarely tell you. They just don't come back.

What is a mystery visit?

A perfectly normal visit – through a trained eye.

During a mystery visit, an experienced test guest visits your attraction without your team knowing. They buy a ticket, join the queue, order fries, ask for directions – just like your guests do.

The difference: they observe systematically, score against fixed criteria and document everything. So you see your operation the way your guests experience it – not the way it looks on an announced walkthrough.

Anonymous

Nobody on the team knows. You see real everyday operations instead of a show.

Structured scoring

A clear set of criteria makes results comparable and traceable – across several visits, too.

With recommendations

You don't just get scores – you get concrete, actionable advice from inside the leisure industry.

What we offer

Two options. One goal: delighted guests.

A focused check of selected areas or the full picture of everything your guest experiences – you decide how deep we go.

Option 1

Mystery Visit

The classic test visit – focused and comparable.

We visit your attraction anonymously and score it against a set of criteria. Which areas and tasks are included, we agree with you beforehand.

  • Scope and tasks agreed in a briefing call
  • Scoring against fixed criteria, e.g. tickets, service, cleanliness, food & beverage, safety
  • Specific test scenarios possible (e.g. a complaint, a question, a special request)
  • Written report with scores and photos
  • Ideal for regular quality checks

The Experience Report

Not a report for the drawer. A to-do list with reasons.

Many audits end with “there is potential here”. Ours start there. Every finding comes with what you can actually do about it – and how urgent it is.

  • Management summary – the essentials on one page
  • Journey map – every touchpoint scored, online and on site
  • Findings with photos – what we experienced and how it lands with guests
  • Direct recommendations – for every finding, workable in daily operations
  • Prioritised action plan – now, this season, strategic
  • What works well – so your team knows what to keep doing

Finding: The family ticket only shows up in step four. We nearly bought two single tickets.

Recommendation: Show the family ticket first in the shop and link it from the home page.

Entrance & ticketsThis season

Finding: Friendly, but no orientation: nobody mentions highlights, show times or the park map.

Recommendation: A 20-second welcome with three fixed tips for the day – add it to front-desk training.

After the visitStrategic

Finding: After buying online, there's no further message. No feedback request, no reason to come back.

Recommendation: Automated thank-you email with a feedback link and a season-pass offer.

Illustrative example – not from a client project.

The customer journey

A visit starts long before the turnstile.

Your guest has collected dozens of impressions before they see the first ride. The Experience Report covers all three phases.

01

Before the visit

Inspiration, information, tickets – can guests find what they're looking for?

  • Google & Maps
  • Website
  • Online shop
  • Social media
  • Reviews
  • Phone & email
02

On the day

From the car park to the exit – how does the day feel?

  • Arrival & parking
  • Tickets & entry
  • Staff
  • Wayfinding
  • Attractions
  • Queues
  • Food & beverage
  • Cleanliness & toilets
  • Shop
03

After the visit

Do guests remember you – and do you stay in touch?

  • Farewell
  • Follow-up
  • Newsletter
  • Response to feedback
  • Reasons to return

For a classic mystery visit we focus on the areas we agree on beforehand – usually phase 02.
